Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Completion of a recognized peer support training program. Lived experience in recovery from mental illness and/or addiction. Willingness to share one’s personal experience of recovery. Knowledge of systemic issues such as poverty and stigma. Involvement with local/emerging community of practice and with national peer support organization. Must be able to transport oneself from work site to various locations in order to meet with peers. NVCI training will be required and provided to the successful candidate.
Preferred Qualifications:Previous lived experience with the justice system is preferred.
