A minimum of a post-secondary degree or diploma in Nutrition and Food or Food Service Management or Certified Nutrition Manager, or recognized equivalent combination of education and experience. 5 years recent food service management experience and health care management experience. Project management, process improvement and change leadership experience. Exceptional customer service and stakeholder engagement skills. Demonstrated leadership skills including decision making, coaching, teaching, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others. Effective communicator with strong organizational skills. Proven ability to foster partnership and to achieve organizational goals within a large, diverse organization and manage within a unionized sector. A clear pattern of professional and personal development.

Preferred Qualifications:
Valid practice permit with the College of Dietitians of Alberta or Professional affiliation (eg. CCHSE, Canadian Society of Nutrition Managers). A minimum of 5 years in a health care food service leadership role, ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity, and diversity. Leadership experience in large quantity food production/food services and healthcare operations.
