Bachelor’s degree in nursing required. 3-5 years progressive management experience in a complex healthcare environment. Experience in acute inpatient setting required. Proven ability to lead teams and promote collaboration, manage, delegate and prioritize work effectively among team members. Demonstrated ability to manage change and create innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues. Proven ability to foster partnerships and to achieve organizational goals within an organization and ideally managing within unionized sector. Strong track record in establishing and maintaining positive effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Effective leadership skills, including demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making responsibilities, coaching and mentoring, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others. Demonstrated caring and support to direct reports and staff.
Additional Required Qualifications:
A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development. Demonstrated proficiency in both written and verbal communications. Strong organizational skills and influential skills. Excellent analytical and decision-making skills. Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and manage short and long term plans and projects for the delivery of client- centered care. Working knowledge of renal care and treatments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Project management experience preferred. Experience in neurosciences as asset.
