Completion of diploma from a post-secondary program in a related field.
Additional Required Qualifications:Community outreach worker experience. 3-5 years’ experience working in adult addictions and mental health. Experience working with individuals with an opioid use disorder. Knowledge of the Continuum of Care of Addiction and Mental Health services in the Calgary Zone. Knowledge of Mental Health Legislation especially related to CTO's. Experience in conducting psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and crisis intervention. Experience working in partnership with non-AHS and non-profit community agencies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in demanding and dynamic conditions. Excellent organizational, problem-solving and time management skills. Knowledge of community financial supports and services such as AISH, AB adult health benefit, etc.
