Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Completion of an accredited specialty Orthopaedic Technician program. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Previous adult Orthopedic outpatient clinic experience within the last 6 months. Previous experience surgical procedures in an ambulatory clinic within last 3 years (such as: Cystoscopy, gynecological, orthopedic, general surgical procedures).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with direct IV push administration. Previous experience in operating room environment. Procedural sedation course. Previous experience with patient education. Previous experience in cystography. Experience with Connect care. Previous experience with NetCare. Previous experience in Ambulatory Clinics and Endoscopy.
