Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Completion of an accredited specialty Orthopaedic Technician program. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Previous endoscopy experience in Prep/recovery within last 3 years. 3 years previous experience in an Orthopedic Clinic within the last 5 years
Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience surgical procedures in an ambulatory clinic within last 3 years (such as: Cystoscopy, gynecological, orthopedic, general surgical procedures). Experience with complex wound care. Previous experience in operating room environment. Procedural sedation course. Previous experience with patient education. Experience with Connect care. Previous experience in Ambulatory Clinics
