Active or eligible for certification by the Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthamology (JCAHPO). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a technician/technologist in a high volume clinic (hospital setting preferred). Proficiency in Humphrey visual field testing, ophthalmic photography and angiography, retinoscopy, refractometry, optical coherence tomography, specular microscopy, corneal topography. Experience performing ocular ultrasound within the past 6 months. Skills in both posterior and anterior ophthalmic photography including corneal topography and endothelial bio-microscopy. Skills in fluorescein angiography. Strong communication skills. Ability to work independently and a member of a multidisciplinary team. Experience and proficient using the following Microsoft programs: Word, Excel and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience performing electrodiagnostic testing. Experience with Goldman and Octopus field tests. Must consistently demonstrate AHS core values of compassion, accountability, respect, excellence and safety.
