A minimum of Baccalaureate Degree. Current professional license with their respective professional College. A minimum of 5 years in a clinical rehabilitation role/service, ideally in an organization of significant size and complexity and diversity. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development. A working knowledge of the healthcare system is required. Equivalency of education and experience may be considered. Ability to foster a climate of cooperation amongst, and build solid relationships with public agencies, government, committees and other.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Awareness and knowledge of pediatric rehabilitation services within the Calgary Zone. Familiarity with Regional Collaborative Service Delivery. Provincial Rehabilitation Strategic Plan and Community Rehabilitation Model of Care. Progressive leadership experience in a related field. Effective communicator with strong organizational skills, influential skills, client focused orientation and commitment to providing quality services. Leadership skills, including demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making responsibilities, coaching and teaching, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others. Demonstrated ability to manage change and create innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues. Ability to manage human, financial and physical resources within an operating environment. Proven ability to foster partnerships and to achieve organizational goals within an organization and ideally managing within a unionized sector. Strong track record in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Effective leadership abilities combined with a strong commitment to operating within a team environment and the ability to motivate and inspire other to achieve common goals. Ability to plan, organize and manage short and long term plans and projects and deliver customer-focused results.
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in Management and/or Master's Degree preferred. A minimum of 3 years management experience, with healthcare experience preferred.
