Onboarding Coordinator
Your Opportunity:
Are you highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities, and comfortable communicating with everyone from front-line staff to senior leaders? Alberta Health Services (AHS) is seeking an Onboarding Coordinator for Nutrition, Food, Linen, and Environmental Services (NFLES) in Central Alberta. In this role, you will support a consistent and effective approach to hiring and onboarding. You will monitor vacancies and HR dashboards across the Zone to inform workforce planning and recruitment strategies. Working closely with the Executive Director—and in partnership with Managers, Supervisors, Human Resources, and Talent Advisors—you will implement recruitment initiatives and carry out hiring activities to meet staffing needs. You will build and maintain strong relationships with key contacts across the Zone and provincially, supporting collaboration at all levels. The role also requires presenting information clearly to diverse audiences and contributing to a positive, coordinated recruitment experience. The successful candidate will have a history demonstrating: Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships. High degree of autonomy and sound critical thinking. Excellent organization, planning, and project management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft tools (Teams, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Post-secondary degree or diploma in business administration, health care profession, healthcare management or related field. Equivalent skills and experience will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in recruitment/selection for both unionized and non-unionized employees in an organization of significant size, complexity, and diversity. Nutrition, Food, Linen, and Environmental Services experience preferred. Demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development.
