Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program or bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program and related experience. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).
Additional Required Qualifications:3-5 years of recent clinical OT experience with Children and Adolescents (and their families) who have complex Mental. Health issues with associated cognitive, behavioral and developmental concerns. 2 years in recent formal diagnostic assessment and intervention with Children and Adolescents with mental health challenges and physical and/or developmental disabilities. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations from a Family-Centered Care perspective. Demonstrated Experience providing consultation and assessment feedback to professional external to Health and Mental Health. Demonstrated Experience working in multi-disciplinary care teams. Demonstrated knowledge of community resources for clients and families. This position has transitioned to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. Preferred Qualifications:Brain Story Certification preferred. School-based experience preferred. Experience working with Neurodevelopmental disorders preferred. Group experience preferred. Connect Attachment model training preferred. Facing Your Fears training preferred.
