Completion of master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program or bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program and related experience. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).
Additional Required Qualifications:3-5 years working in Mental Health acute care or Mental Health community services. 3+ years working with children experiencing mental health concerns. Supervised training and experience in OT assessment of children and adolescents within a mental health setting. Demonstrated collaboration with Children's Services. Demonstrated collaboration with the education system.
Preferred Qualifications:Supervised training and experience in OT assessment of children and adolescents within a mental health setting. Collaborative Problem Solving orientation. Suicide risk assessment and Mental Status Exam, Mental Health Act. Group facilitation and development skills. Supervision, teaching and mentorship skills. Patient and family centered care principles.
