Required Qualifications:

Completion of master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program or bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program and related experience. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to monitor financial accountabilities. Demonstrated critical thinking and decision making skills. Demonstrated assessment skills. Demonstrated ability to operate within an electronic health record. Knowledge of ethical principles and their application in the clinical/home setting. Proven ability to work in a multidisciplinary team. Ability to work independently using innovative approaches to case manage a diverse client caseload. Good negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Physically able to perform all assigned tasks. Ability to perform all duties in accordance with related legislation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Home Care experience preferred. Recent experience working with acute clients and/or long term clients with a focus on chronic disease management. Intermediate level of computer skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong interpersonal skills.
