Completion of bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program. Registered with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).
Additional Required Qualifications:1 year of community-based experience working with children 0-18 years of age; a combination of experience and education may be considered. Working knowledge of computer applications including word processing, email, internet access and data entry. Ability to be self-directed and to effectively work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Must possess a sound understanding of the community and the determinants of health. Must possess strong assessment, communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated problem solving planning and organization skills. Experience working in collaboration with community partners and program development. Must demonstrate a strong patient/family-centered approach to care. Basic Cardiac Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP). Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed service targets.
Preferred Qualifications:Preference will be given to applicants with recent experience and familiarity with community agencies involved with the target population. Experience working with interdisciplinary teams. Experience working in Connect Care. Experience with virtual and group service delivery is also considered an asset. Master’s degree is considered an asset.
