Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program. Registered with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).

Additional Required Qualifications:

BLS for Health Care Providers Level C CPR certification issued within the last 12 months prior to commencement of employment. Ability to physically manage repetitive lifting, and transferring of patients and equipment. Experience working in an acute or tertiary neuro rehab setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience within the last year providing Occupational Therapy interventions to adult patients in an acute hospital setting. Minimum 2 years experience practicing as a registered Occupational Therapist. Minimum 6 months experience (1.0 FTE) within the last 2 years working in the area of adult neurology. Experience within the last year working in a tertiary or community setting. Post-secondary clinical training in the area of neurology. AADL authorizer.
