Required Qualifications:

Registered with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Demonstrated strong clinical decision-making ability in complex environments is required. Demonstrated skills in working in interdisciplinary teams. Minimum two years' experience with standardized adult assessment of visuospatial reasoning, functional cognition, and neuro/musculoskeletal physical assessment. Effective teaching skills, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills are required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Memberships with the Society of Alberta Occupational Therapists and the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists recommended. Experience with standardized physical and cognitive/perceptual assessments an asset. Experience with interventions such as Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation, cognitive and perceptual rehabilitation strategies, vision rehabilitation, and a strong working knowledge of anatomy and progressive strengthening programs is an asset.
