Required Qualifications:

Registered with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).

Additional Required Qualifications:

A demonstrated pattern of professional and personal development. Experience in knowledge translation and coaching, has worked in a multidisciplinary team, has demonstrated an ability to effectively manage change and can foster innovate solutions to diverse issues. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills. Ability to thoroughly and accurately collect and document information in a professional and timely manner. Ability to work confidently and independently, self-directed, client-focused orientation and commitment to providing quality services. Knowledge of the addiction and mental health system and resources available. Effective communication, computer skills, interpersonal and organizational skills are a position requirement. Ability to adapt and innovate in a continuously changing health care environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preference will be given to applicants with experience working with individuals with mental health and developmental disabilities, with a strong focus in Autism Spectrum Disorders. Preference to applicants with experience in supporting and advocating for clients with mental health disorders and developmental disabilities through a behaviour management, trauma informed care and sensory processing model and be experienced with behavioural strategies, and NVCI.
