Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program. Registered with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science Degree or master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. Basic Cardiac Life Support- Healthcare Provider (BCLS HCP). Strong communication, assessment, conflict resolution and time management skills. Proven ability to provide exceptional clinical care within a continually changing healthcare environment. Physically able to perform all assigned tasks. The successful candidate will work independently in clients’ homes, which could include congregate settings, single family dwellings, condos and/or walk-up apartments. Therefore, the successful candidate must be able to work in different settings and environments (home environments and weather conditions) as well as be able to lift and carry medical bags, which weigh approximately 25-30 lbs. At the time of interview, you may be required to demonstrate your computer knowledge and proficiency by completing a hands-on assessment. You must demonstrate sufficient typing speed to meet workload demand and navigate through various computer programs including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), Visio, Outlook and Internet.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with RAI, Meditech, and case management principles. AADL Authorizer. Continuing Care experience. Meditech and Connect Care experience. Palliative Care experience.
