Required Qualifications:

Successful completion of an approved NP program at a minimum of a Master of Nursing level. Current registration with CRNA (College of Registered Nurses of Alberta) as an NP. Successful completion of the controlled drugs and substances education, jurisprudence and continuing competency requirements as required by CRNA. This will include the authorized utilization of a triplicate prescription pad. Minimum 1 year of clinical experience relevant to oncology, palliative care and/or internal medicine. Willingness to complete additional education and/or certifications specific to area of practice. Demonstrate strong communication, organization, systems thinking, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate strong critical thinking skills and have the ability to work both independently, and collaboratively, within a multidisciplinary team. Demonstrated leadership abilities and strong time management skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a number of health care providers across the continuum of health care.
