Completion of a recognized Nurse Practitioner Program in the Neonatal stream Active or eligible for registration as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta with practice permit indicating Child Population (Neonatal) stream of practice. The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for ensuring that his/her registration is current and valid. A minimum of 2 years current level III NICU experience required Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Provider Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) Commitment to Alberta Health Services Vision, Mission, Core Values and Goals

Preferred Qualifications:Microsoft Office Suite knowledge Pediatric Advanced Life Support Provider (PALS) Experience with the development and/or implementation of evidence based practice Experience with program development Quality Improvement certification (i.e. Yellow Belt, Green Belt, Black Belt or equivalent) Change Management certification (i.e. PROSCI or equivalent)
