Master's Degree in nursing (Nurse Practitioner) with a strong focus on advanced clinical nursing practice with a strong focus on Women’s health (gynecology, oncology etc.). 3+ years clinical experience. Active registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification required. Demonstrated ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team. The incumbent will need to demonstrate a passion and desire to work with this patient population. Self-directed and have the ability to work in a team environment. Practice trauma informed and patient centred care. Demonstrated leadership ability, acute care clinical skills and strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Excellent knowledge and comfort with computers. Experience teaching and orienting new nurses/team members. Organized with attention to detail. Passion for women's health.
Preferred Qualifications:
Connect care. Experience with gynecological and oncology patients.
