Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program, with a minimum of a Master's degree. Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) on the Nurse Practitioner Registrar, including Provisional Graduate Nurse Practitioner licensure. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Completion of a Master’s Degree in Nursing - Nurse Practitioner Program (Adult). Ability to provide direct care through application of knowledge in advanced assessment skills, pathophysiology, pharmacotherapeutics, and applicable interventions.
Preferred Qualifications:Nurse Practitioner experience in general internal medicine. Experience working with adult medical patients within the last 5 years. Experience with the development and/or implementation of evidence-based practice. Experience with program development. Completion of leadership-related courses within last 3 years. Progressive nursing leadership experience within last 3 years.
