Required Qualifications:

Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner (NP) program at a minimum of a Master of Nursing level. Registration with CARNA as an NP. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Authorized by the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta to prescribe controlled drugs and substances including Suboxone®. This position requires a vehicle for business use. Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a motor vehicle in good repair for work related travel. Ability to travel within the zone and potentially the province.


Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum two (2) years’ experience within the last five (5) years’ clinical experience in Addiction & Mental Health. Knowledge and experience utilizing the principles and practice of harm reduction. Knowledge and/or experience of addiction and/or mental health treatment modalities (e.g., motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioural therapy, and solution focused therapy).
