Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program, with a minimum of a Master's degree. Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) on the Nurse Practitioner Registrar, including Provisional Graduate Nurse Practitioner licensure. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:This position provides clinical leadership to a large team and requires sound clinical acumen. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; demonstrating effective time management, independent decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills; and an ability to foster positive relationships within a multidisciplinary team environment are all expectations of this role. Proven ability to work with community stakeholders required.
Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge and/or experience of addiction and/or mental health treatment modalities (e.g., motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and solution-focused therapy) is preferred.
