Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program and a minimum of master's degree. Registration with CRNA on the Nurse Practitioner Registrar including Provisional Graduate Nurse Practitioner licensure. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Communication and assessment skills. 3-5 years of recent nursing experience in a combination of areas including but not limited to: acute/sub-acute, rehabilitative, community emergency room, ICU, continuing care, home care, etc. At the time of interview, you may be required to demonstrate your computer knowledge and proficiency by completing a hands-on assessment. You must demonstrate sufficient typing speed to meet workload demand and navigate through various computer programs including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), Visio, Outlook and Internet. Evidence of area of expertise in their graduate degree Nurse Practitioner stream (Family/All Ages, Adult, Child/Child (Neonatal Specialty).
Preferred Qualifications:CNA Certification in National Nursing Specialty (i.e., Gerontological, Critical Care, Nursing, Hospice, Palliative Care Nursing, etc.). Meditech and Connect Care experience. Palliative Care experience.
