Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program and a minimum of master's degree. Registration with CRNA on the Nurse Practitioner Registrar including Provisional Graduate Nurse Practitioner licensure. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Master of Nursing with certification as a Nurse Practitioner (Family and All ages) having passed the national licensing exam or equivalent. Minimum 3 years' experience in an acute care/critical care and ambulatory environment required. Strong knowledge and working experience in pediatric surgery, specifically orthopedics is required.
Preferred Qualifications:A minimum of 3 years of full-time (or equivalent number of hours) related clinical experience as a registered nurse within Pediatrics is an asset. PALS and ACLS certifications are considered an asset.
