Completion of a master’s degree in Nursing Science or a graduate program in a related discipline. Current registration with CARNA as a NP. Current ACLS and BCLS-HCP certifications. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Ability to function independently while still being in a supervised position for the first several months of this role. Excel at working in a dynamic fast paced environment. Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and stressful situations. Knowledge and application of current research. Participation in research and an ongoing interest in research.
Additional Required Qualifications:Must be able to support flexible work schedule, including weekends and nights on occasion as service coverage may require.
Preferred Qualifications:Recent (within the last 12 months) clinical nursing experience in cardiology preferred. NP experience in an acute care setting preferred. Proficiency in ACLS and interventional procedures is highly desirable.
