Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

3-5 years recent clinical experience in AHS. Strong verbal communication, public speaking, and listening skills. Prior experience facilitating, instructing, precepting and or teaching. Knowledge of organizational/clinical workflows and practice. Strong interpersonal skills required. Ability to learn new material quickly and adapt to change. Must have the ability to build rapport easily. Comfort with technology and the ability to quickly master new software programs. Strong team player. Proven leadership skills required. Ability to critically think and solve problems quickly and efficiently. Approachable, team player, mentoring ability. Ability to prioritize. Ability to be patient and calm when faced with multiple distractions and problems that may arise. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Ability to promote the change process in a positive manner. Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office tools including word, SharePoint, Visio, etc. Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods with extended computer. Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds. Experience and comfort in problem solving and conflict resolution.

Preferred Qualifications:

Completion of Prosci change management training preferred. Demonstrated ability to think systematically and critically to improve quality, realize improved outcomes and engage others in same. Demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making responsibilities, coaching and teaching, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others. Demonstrated experience in planning, communication, facilitation, and coordination of multiple projects/operational work packages.
