Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Qualifications:

3-5 years recent clinical expertise in pediatric acute care required. Demonstrated professional development pertaining to leadership, effective communication and mentoring required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills required. Demonstrated ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team environment required. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment with multiple and changing demands required. Demonstrated strong organizational and prioritization skills required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Baccalaureate in Nursing preferred.
