Required Qualifications:

Completion of diploma from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMT) Program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic & Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Nuclear Medicine Technologist with strong radiation safety and technical skills required. Demonstrated pattern of initiative, positive attitude, tact, courtesy, professionalism, conflict resolution, communication, team approach, and safety. Demonstrated radiation safety knowledge, experience, and skill. Ability to assume responsibility, work under pressure or in emergency situations, and contribute to the overall growth and development of self and the department. Demonstrated record keeping skills with an emphasis on detail and accuracy. Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, particularly in a hospital setting, is preferred. Connect Care and Provincial Enterprise Imaging training and proficiency would be an asset. Radiation Safety Officer or related courses an asset. Previous experience with hybrid imaging an asset. Excellent laboratory skills preferred.
