Doctoral degree in Psychology in an applied area relevant to the practice setting from a Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) or American Psychological Association (APA) program, with successful completion of an appropriate CPA or APA accredited residency, and successful completion of a two-year post-doctoral fellowship program with a focus in Neuropsychology (consistent with the Houston Guidelines). Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists.
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum one (1) year relevant post-doctoral experience in neuropsychological evaluation from a recognized residency in clinical neuropsychology. Registered as a Psychologist in Alberta (or eligible) with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP) required. Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) Level C required from Alberta Heart & Stroke.
Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience working in a hospital setting. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to function effectively within a patient-centered, interdisciplinary team of health care professionals. Effective self-management skills and demonstrated initiative. Basic computer skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
