Required Qualifications:

A graduate degree in health care management, business administration or related field is desirable. A minimum of 6 years of progressive, diverse healthcare leadership experience in a health care organization of significant size, complexity and diversity. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development. Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Successful leadership experience in project planning, execution, reporting, monitoring and evaluation. Experience in resource management including planning and budgetary accountability. Significant experience in leading and supervising staff within a health care environment. Experience in initiating and fostering positive relationships and partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders. Effective communicator with strong organizational skills, influential skills, client-focused orientation and commitment to providing quality services. Ability to relay or explain complex issues or difficult situations. Expert skills in negotiation, facilitation and conflict resolution are required. Experience and expertise in facilitating presentations to convey information or transfer knowledge. Experience in the participation of senior level research projects or teams, project analysis, outcomes, report development and dissemination of results. Demonstrated ability to facilitate change. Ability to work independently with guidance in only the most complex situations. Knowledge and experience in application of business planning, modeling concepts, and program/project management theories, principles and practices. Ability to think strategically, taking into account short and long-term goals assessing options and implications.


Preferred Qualifications:

Recognized as an effective Team Leader with successful experience in strategic human resource management. Considerable skill is needed to balance diverse and, occasionally conflicting, stakeholder interests. Proven abilities in complex problem solving, concerns resolution, investigation, and negotiation.
