Required Qualifications:

Completion of a master's degree in psychology; a bachelor's degree in social work incorporating education in mental health assessment, brief counseling, and crisis intervention; a master's or bachelor's degree in occupational therapy with similar educational components; a bachelor's degree in nursing with training and experience in mental health assessment, crisis intervention, and brief counseling; or a bachelor's degree in psychiatric nursing. Active or eligible for registration with the applicable Alberta regulatory college.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Occupational Therapists: Completion of bachelor's degree in occupational therapy and active or eligible registration with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT). Psychologists: Completion of master's degree in psychology and active (or eligible registration) with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP). Registered Nurses and Registered Psychiatric Nurses: Completion of an accredited Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing education program and active (or eligible registration) with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) or the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Alberta (CRPNA). Social Workers: Completion of bachelor's degree in social work and active (or eligible registration) with the Alberta College of Social Work (ACSW). This position has transitioned to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years providing clinical interventions to youth and one year experience in case management function. Minimum of 1 year working within a group care, hospital, or inpatient treatment setting. Certification in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention, Suicide Prevention and First Aid/BLS. Knowledge of the Children's First Act, Child and Youth Family Enhancement Act, and the Family Supports for Children with Disabilities legislation.
