Required Qualifications:

Occupational Therapists: Completion of bachelor¿s degree in Occupational Therapy and active or eligible registration with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT). Psychologists: Completion of bachelor's degree in Psychology and active (or eligible registration) with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP). Registered Nurses and Registered Psychiatric Nurses: Completion of an accredited Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing education program and active (or eligible registration) with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) or the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Alberta (CRPNA). Social Workers: Completion of bachelor's degree in Social Work and active (or eligible registration) with the Alberta College of Social Work (ACSW).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years' of relevant mental health experience. Understanding of the application of the Alberta Mental Health Act. Knowledge and skill in mental health assessment, risk assessment, crisis intervention, treatment, brief solution focused therapy or equivalent. Knowledge of substance use disorders and/or process addictions. Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). Experience working with community and external stakeholders including Police and other emergency responders. Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills as well as excellence in written and verbal communication. Demonstrated creativity, flexibility, critical thinking and initiative is essential. Ability to prioritize and meet competing demands/requirements. Successful Candidate must obtain enhanced security clearance from the RCMP prior to hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

Efficient with LOCUS tool (Level of Care Utilization System). Knowledge and experience in the use of Connect Care.
