Required Qualifications:

This position is open to Registered Nurses, Registered Psychiatric Nurses, Registered Social Workers, Registered Psychologists, and Occupational Therapists. Social Workers and Psychologists: Completion of bachelor degree in Social Work or Psychology. Active or eligible registration with the Alberta College of Social Work (ACSW) or the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP) Registered Nurses and Registered Psychiatric Nurses: Completion of an accredited nursing or psychiatric nursing education program. Active or eligible registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA) or the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Alberta (CRPNA).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Criminal record check and vulnerable persons search for external candidates are required. Excellent knowledge of DSM criteria for mental health disorders. Demonstrated ability to work well within a multi-disciplinary team Willingness to engage in clinical supervision related to group and individual therapy, in keeping with the supervision guidelines set ou by AHS Addiction and Mental Health. Excellent organizational, problem solving and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years experience in an Adult Addiction and Mental Health setting within the past 3 years. Demonstrated experience in individual and group therapy (including CBT, psychoeducational, DBT). Community experience including case management as asset. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, SCM, and e-Scheduler an asset.
