Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Certification from an accredited Medical Transcription Program.
Additional Qualifications:Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Attention to detail with excellent formatting, grammar, syntax and proofreading skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Accurate typing speed of 60 wpm required and testing done prior to interview.
Preferred Qualifications:Formal training and working knowledge of Edit Script and EMON dictation systems.
