Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Certification from an accredited Medical Transcription Program.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Medical Terminology course. Accurate and proficient Keyboarding skills, 35 wpm (typing test required). Absolute attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent knowledge of the English language both written and oral.

Preferred Qualifications:

Recent Diagnostic Imaging experience desired. Minimum 3 months recent experience in a hospital or medical environment. Demonstrated proficiency in Windows (Word, Excel, Internet, and Email). Prior experience working with the public an asset.
