Completion of diploma from an accredited Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Course work towards CAMRT Specialty certificate in Computed Tomography must be underway. IV/CVAD certificates. Participate in Diagnostic Imaging Quality program. Maintain AHS Annual Continuing Education. Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position.
Preferred Qualifications:CAMRT Specialty Certificate of completion in Computed Tomography preferred. Experience coaching, mentoring and evaluating students and new staff. Working knowledge of current DI software applications including CT 3D post processing. Meditech and Philips PACS proficiency an asset. Coordination of work flow. Perform conflict resolution when able.
