To work in a fast-paced, busy and challenging Computed Tomography and Interventional Radiology departments in an acute care facility with both pediatric and adult patients. Open to MRT I and MRT II designations.
Description:
As a Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) II, you will perform specialized technical radiological imaging examinations on patients for the purpose of disease and pathology diagnosis. You may perform specialized diagnostic imaging procedures for Physician/Radiologist review, interpret physician requisitions and assist with the care and maintenance of imaging equipment.

Completion of diploma from an accredited Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Cross-sectional anatomy courses. Demonstrated excellent skills in interpersonal, written, and oral communication. Proven judgment and decision-making. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work in stressful situations and a desire to further own the knowledge and performance relating to the field. Must be able to work with various health disciplines and demonstrate respect and partnership.
Preferred Qualifications:Working experience in Computed Tomography and Interventional Radiology in a Trauma and Pediatric Center is preferred.
