Required Qualifications:

MD eligible for licensure in Alberta. FRCPC with specialty in Public Health and Preventive Medicine (or equivalent); CCFP with additional training in public health (MPH) will be considered. Minimum of 5 years' experience in public health / community medicine, in the Canadian context. Leadership experience including financial management, planning and program development.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Critical thinking skills. Strong verbal and written communications skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience communicating with the general public, media, and government officials. Experience in clinical medicine and strong clinical decision making skills. Emergency management experience.
