Completion of Information Management/Library Technology Diploma.
Additional Required Qualifications:Applicant MUST be a graduate of a Library and Information Technology program (E.g. SAIT/MacEwan). Applicants without this minimal qualification will not be considered. Must have experience with Library Services, including professional knowledge of and experience completing library cataloguing & library data bases management. Other requirements include: Knowledge and demonstrated ability to practice Patient and Family Centered Care and family/patient engagement. Ability to work productively and independently. Excellent communication skills, including ability to relate to individuals of all ages and backgrounds - including those experiencing stress and/or emotional upset. Experience in computer technology including Internet, data bases, websites and other web-based information applications.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience working with community resources and stakeholders. Experience in locating, assessing and providing access to consumer oriented credible child health information. Experience and skills working with a wide range of service providers including other health providers, child health programs, and other child serving sectors. Direct knowledge of ACH programs and services and other child serving sectors. Additional Education relevant to the work is an asset.
