Required Qualifications:

Completion of a Diploma related to Photography and/or Audio/Visual Multimedia Production from an accredited post-secondary institution.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Post-secondary education in the field of Information and Communications Technology (e.g. Computer Science). Post-secondary courses in child development, health science, and medical terminology are required. A broad range of experience with computer technology is essential. Proficiency in: ICT/Computer terminology; standard workplace applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access); internet searches; children’s software; web development (PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQLite); medical terminology; multimedia software (Acrobat, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), IT security. Excellent communication skills including ability to connect with a wide range of individuals. Broad range of technical expertise including web development and troubleshooting hardware, software and system issues. Demonstrated commitment to Patient & Family Centred Care. Demonstrated excellence in team work. Ability to be co-operative and flexible. Must have good time management skills. Experience working with children and families in hospital settings.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in: Health sciences, social sciences or related discipline is preferred. Using children’s software and online resources. Digital photography and photo editing software is an asset. Direct knowledge of ACH programs and services is an asset. Experience with video recording and editing is an asset. Experience supporting volunteers.
