Your Opportunity:
We are looking for a Millwright / Machinist to help out in our maintenance department at the Misericordia Community Hospital. You will be responsible for working on campus with various; pumps, motors, fans and kitchen equipment as needed to maintain the day to day operations here. Please note: Classifications Under Review.
Description:
The Mechanic/Welder is responsible for carrying out demand and preventative maintenance as well as installation and modifications to mechanical equipment and systems. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the CUPE 2111 Collective Agreement.

As both a Millwright and a Welder, must be a registered apprentice, an Alberta-certified journeyperson or hold a valid recognized credential.
Additional Required Qualifications:5 years minimum as a Journeyman Millwright / Industrial Mechanic required. 5 Years minimum experience in Healthcare, or similar commercial setting as a Millwright required. Advanced knowledge of rebuilding Pumps, Motors, and Fans required.
Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of kitchen equipment repair an asset. Knowledge of Hospital beds (Hill-Rom / Stryker) an asset.
