A minimum of a two-year diploma and 5 years’ leadership experience in a related field, OR 7-10 years direct parking experience. A minimum of five years’ experience in a management or supervisory role, ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development. Effective communication with strong organizational skills, client-focused orientation and commitment to providing quality services. Leadership skills, including ability and confidence with decision-making responsibilities, coaching and mentoring experience, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others. Demonstrated ability to facilitate change. Ability to manage human, financial and physical resources within an operating environment.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Ability to foster partnerships and to achieve organizational goals within an organization, ideally with experience in a unionized workplace. Strong track record in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Effective leadership abilities combined with a strong commitment to operating within a team environment. Ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve common goals. Excellent analytical and decision-making skills. Ability to foster a climate of cooperation and build solid relationships with public agencies, government, committees and other partners. Ability to manage and resolve conflict effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
A post-secondary degree in a business-related area or a combination of education and experience.
