Your Opportunity:

The Manager - Operations/Clinical Services is responsible for the appropriate delivery of Supportive Living services by a multi-disciplinary team of health care providers to eligible recipients according to regional and provincial policy. This role provides oversight of educators, clinical nursing staff and case managers with a goal of providing enhanced supports, education, growth of the program that aligns with the program’s operational needs and Continuing Care direction.

Description:

The Manager - Operations/Clinical Services will provide leadership and mentoring to front-line staff, manage resource allocation within assigned area, and participate in program area management processes and meetings. Knowledge of Supportive Living program and its interconnection with other health systems. Knowledge of client centered approach to service. Knowledge of internal and external resources relevant to the delivery of Supportive Living. Knowledge of clinical nursing, adult education principles and healthcare program operations Working knowledge of Microsoft Work, Excel, Access, and E-mail. Time management and organizational skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Effective conflict resolution and proven leadership skills. Ability to manage competing priorities effectively.

Required Qualifications:

Baccalaureate degree in nursing required. Progressive experience with managing/supervising and/or leading teams required. Experience with elements of project management and implementation of quality initiatives is a definite asset Annual Active registration with CARNA and Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification are required.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Computer literacy in Microsoft Office is required.


Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in health related filed preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. 3-5 years of clinical health experience (current community care preferred).
