Required Qualifications:

A minimum of a post-secondary degree or diploma in Nutrition and Food or Food Service Management or Certified Nutrition Manager, or recognized equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of 5 years in a health care food service leadership role, ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity, and diversity. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development. Financial management experience with direct accountability of 3+ million operating budget.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Leadership experience in healthcare food services delivery including project management, process improvement and change leadership. Ability to manage human, financial and physical resources within an operating environment in an organization of significant size and complexity. Exceptional customer service and stakeholder engagement skills. Demonstrated leadership skills including decision-making, coaching, teaching, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others. Effective communicator with strong organizational skills, influential skills, and client focused orientation and commitment to providing quality services. Proven ability to foster partnerships and to achieve organizational goals within a large, diverse organization and manage within a unionized sector. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development.


Preferred Qualifications:

Valid practice permit with the College of Dietitians of Alberta or Professional affiliation (eg. CCHSE, Canadian Society of Nutrition Managers). Leadership operational experience in large quantity food services within healthcare operations. Experience with long term care sites.
