Required Qualifications:

Active registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA), College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association (CRPNA) or College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA) Graduation from a recognized nursing education program Three (3) plus years’ experience in a nursing role within the last five (5) years Current Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP)

- Actively integrates Resident and Family Centered Care principles into practice Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to work collaboratively with members of the multidisciplinary team Demonstrates critical thinking, conflict resolution and problem solving skills Excellent time management and prioritization skills Competence in relevant technical nursing skills and a willingness to learn new skills as required Demonstrated ongoing responsibility for maintaining own continuing professional and practice competencies through professional development activities Please note: All Acute Care, Continuing Care, Mental Health and Public Health LPN, RN and RPN applications require a cover letter and current resume outlining experience and abilities relevant to the position. Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum of one (1) years’ working in a leadership capacity (ie. Charge nurse or team lead) One (1) years’ experience within the last three(3) years Continuing Care Previous management experience within a Long Term Care setting Experience working in Meditech and RAI 2.0
