Required Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in a health related field with a minimum of 5 years clinical experience, and at least 3 years of experience in a leadership role. Requires strong management and leadership skills; highly developed decision-making, negotiation, communication, conflict management, analytical and problem-solving skills. Proven clinical nursing skills in selected areas of practice and a solid understanding of quality and patient safety. Proven ability to lead teams, with effective skills in change management and resource management. A demonstrated advocacy for Patient and Family Centred Care.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in nursing and experience in an Emergency Department setting, are preferred. Equivalencies of education and experience will be considered.
