Required Qualifications:

Graduate of a Biomedical Engineering Technology program, with at least 10 years of health care experience in an acute care facilities. Demonstration of a clear pattern of professional and personal development. Effective verbal and written communicator with strong organization skills, client focused orientation and commitment to providing responsive, quality services. Proven ability to foster partnerships and to achieve organizational goals within a diverse team.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Additional required qualifications include familiarity with medical specialties and treatment modalities, a demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development, and technical troubleshooting ability, incident investigations, and project planning experience. Candidate should be an effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills, and client-focused to provide quality service. Should also demonstrate ability to manage change and create innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues.


Preferred Qualifications:

Graduate of a Biomedical Engineering Technology program with at least 10 years of health care experience in an acute care environment and eligible for CET, PTech, or CBET designation. In addition, unique knowledge and skills include the understanding of Clinical Engineering operations and a minimum of 5 years management experience, ideally in Biomedical or Clinical Engineering. Other equivalent education with 10 years of health care experience in acute care facilities will also be considered.
