Required Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have Degree in Clinical or Biomedical Engineering and certified as a Clinical Engineer (CCE) or registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with four years of relevant healthcare experience. Biomedical Engineering Technologist candidates who have graduated with a diploma or degree in Biomedical Engineering Technology and provincially certified as an Engineering Technologist (CET) as well as certified as a Biomedical Engineering Technologist (CBET) with 10 years of healthcare experience in acute care facilities will also be considered.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Well-developed leadership skills to direct and manage staff, with proven strategic thinking and creative problem solving. Experience with team building, conflict management and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and motivate others. Detailed knowledge of healthcare organizations and terminology is essential, along with familiarity of medical specialties and associated medical equipment. Excellent written and oral communication & interpersonal skills. Strong initiative and organizational skills with the ability to independently manage deadlines and financial budgets. Achieve cost effectiveness, continuous improvement and efficiency through LEAN processes.


Preferred Qualifications:

3-5 years of recent experience managing Biomedical Engineering operations is preferred.
