The Seton Jasper Healthcare Centre is a rural hospital with programs that include an Acute Medical and Emergency Department.
Description:
Reporting directly to the Director, Edmonton Rural Corridor, the Site Manager has operational responsibilities for the acute and emergency departments. Additionally, the Site Manager is responsible for the oversight of the entire Healthcare Centre, ensuring appropriate collaboration and communication with the leaders of other clinical and clinical support services departments. The Site Manager also acts as the primary liaison with stakeholders including physicians and local political leaders and foundations. This role is accountable for providing operational direction to the frontline leadership and patient care team in alignment with the vision, mission and business plan of Alberta Health Services. The Site Manager participates in strategic planning and operational goal setting for the site and the broader Rural Edmonton Corridor. As well, is responsible for ensuring operational policy and plan implementation and evaluation. This includes oversight of the budget process and monitoring and reporting on the financial position of the portfolio.

Must be a registered healthcare professional with active registration with a designated college or association. Minimum of five (5) years of progressive formal leadership experience.
Additional Required Qualifications:Proven clinical and leadership skills. Evidence of initiative, flexibility, strong organizational skills and creativity. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, patients/families, physicians, and external community stakeholders. Evidence of strong commitment to excellence in patient care. Ability to function effectively in a dynamic work environment.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Acute Care & Emergency preferred but a combination of education and experience will be considered.
